August 5th 2008,HOT DAY
time to revive my thread oh lulz
been busy for few weeks working on stuff
so don't have the time to think bout what to write and stuff
well
here i am
finally getting the feel to blog
starting my 1st class in ERA today
it was great,and i got bunch of friendly coursemate despite of 1st day getting to know me
oh,they were all girls and one guy
that sums up there were 2 guys in the class
well
finally,i feel more like going to college now
which is a good thing
and i kinda got asked to intro myself in front of the class
and i got point blank at a moment lol
nice knowing them and,really the lecturers and bunch of fun peoples too.
okay college aside
here's another posting that i hope may enlighten people
there's been alot of people misunderstood what concept art is
well,i'm in this particular field and certainly,i hope i could clear up the mist covering you guys out there thinking about what concept art is
well,majority would think that concept art is freaking cool ass painting
more like a masterpiece as long as it is digitally painted
well

illustration is illustration
both differs from each other
concept art is more to the design rather than the beauty of the painting,a masterpiece or so to say
well,you cant take monalisa as a concept art do you?
concept art is more about the idea and less about the painting
talking about it,we're selling the ideas not the masterpiece

So, an “illustration” is art that communicates something.
There is much of fine art that falls into the category of illustration. Any imagine that tells a story or represents an object is illustrative, whether it is communicating something as complex as a scene from the Lord of the Rings, or as simple a thing as “a horse” or “a man”.
What makes concept art different from illustration is that the audience isn’t the person who reads a book, plays a game, or watches a movie. The primary audience of concept art is other artists, and other people involved in the making of the final product. Concept art is the blueprint that is used to make more art. It is also used to communicate with the holder of the intellectual property rights involved in a project, and it can also be the leverage that is used to get funding for a project.
If you want a formal education that will prepare you for being a concept artist, then study illustration.

been busy settling my portfolio stuff and going to era soon
thanks dennis for sitting there for 2 hours just for my test
lol
and yesterday went to yum cha at suet far beh jau,frosty beer
omfg,taste so foamy lulz
and the cat sistahs(carrmen,isabell,stella) keep on ordering stuff like fried prawns
couldn't drink much end up bringing one bottle home
still in my fridge tho,gonna have it with my dad very soon
lulz

29th june,2008 rainy
i've made a mistake in the past,i paid a high price for it
and i certainly do not wish anyone would make this kind of mistake again
i knew it well
ever since then,i learned alot of things
things i do not know back then
how to love?
and i've finally know what it is
what it is to be loved and to love
a lesson that i'll never forget
how i wish the bus would keep on going and going
never will it stop
but in reality,it has already stopped
and eventually people have to get down

as usual back from college
hmm today's kinda fed up
i dont know why but i;m fed up with my lecturer
yeah he forgot the requirement of his assignment and shoot me back
and end up he's the one who's wrong
well what to do,he's the lecturer mah
the f-up things aside
a friend of mine ask me something today
she asks me "why you don't wanna carpool shi qi(coursemate) since you guys staying at the same are"
i said " i like to take buses"
lol why?
i don't know,but taking bus seems so...nostalgic
shaky bus,wind blowing through the window and the aunties and uncles blabbering all around
and sometimes when you're lucky,there might be some hot chics too
OMFG lulz
wonder when's the 1st time taking bus,it was back to form 3
lol yep,didnt take school bus anymore and decided to take public bus
it was nostalgic back then.....
and there are so many things happen on the bus through out my life..i mean really..alot
example? neh i keep it to myself lulz
uncle/auntie conductor shouting the destination as if they were singing
don't you guys miss that?
ever since i got my driving license i've not been taking buses for some time
now that i have to,guess it's not a bad thing either lol
